Nationality: Caleb was born at the Mater Children’s Hospital in Queensland to an unknown werewolf couple, who left him there a few days after he was born. He was later adopted by the Edwards family, who believed they would not be able to have a child of their own.

Special abilities: Werewolf. Caleb, unlike Alec, is a true werewolf, born from two werewolf parents. The only difference between the two is that Caleb has the ability to shift into his werewolf form at any time; he is not restricted to the full moon. If he transforms at anytime other than the full moon, Caleb is in complete control of his actions. When he transforms on the full moon, Caleb becomes fully animal, and has absolutely no control over his actions or instincts. However, it is almost always an easier transformation at the full moon. Caleb prefers to keep this ability to himself, as it is not something he would like to go around advertising. Also, if Caleb was to bite someone while he was changed BEFORE the full moon, nothing would happen to that person apart from injury. The only time Caleb’s bite would create another werewolf is if he was to bite them on the full moon. This is how Alec became a werewolf. He was too curious as a child, and ventured outside during a full moon. Caleb, who was not in control of his actions at the time, bit Alec. Alec does not know that it is because of Caleb that he is a werewolf, and Caleb has never had the courage to tell him. Instead, Caleb left home almost immediately after the first time Alec changed.

Head:

Caleb is the proud owner of a full head of black hair. He usually keeps it short, though sometimes he will get lazy and allow it to grow. When this happens, it usually grows to his shoulders before he chops it all off again. His eyes are a deep brown colour, and are honestly nothing special, though he has been told by several people (mostly girls) that he has “beautiful eyes”. Caleb’s face is usually home to stubble. He does not shave often, and usually sports either stubble, or a full beard.

Body:

Caleb once referred to himself as “a giant hunk of man meat”. His body is always in perfect shape. Not to Caleb’s doing, of course. As a werewolf, he has an increased metabolism, and his muscles are more defined than the average person’s. He does occasionally go to the gym, just to keep himself in shape.

Other features:

Caleb’s ears sit a bit too high on his head for his liking. Since the incident with Alec, Caleb’s eyes have held a kind of “sad look” about them. This look is attributed to the fact that Caleb sees himself as a coward for not being able to tell his brother what happened that night.

Style:

Caleb has always been a “jeans and a tee” kind of guy. However, in the hotter months, it is very rare that he wears a shirt. Sometimes, Caleb will forego the shirt in exchange for a tank top. However, when required, Caleb can dress up in a suit and tie, and he does clean up good.

“Caleb is... complicated. On one hand, he’s a really great guy, really loyal and really out going. But on the other hand there’s more fingers he can become standoffish and a loner in an instant. He has these moments where he just has to be by himself, no matter where he is or who he’s with. He’ll run off somewhere (at amazing speed, mind you), and he won’t come back for hours, sometimes days, at a time. He has a younger brother he hasn’t seen since the kid was 8, and that really gets him down sometimes. He loves that kid to death, and would do anything for him.”

“Caleb is just some werewolf that wasn’t wanted by his own parents, so had to be given to someone else’s. He acts like he’s so great and so popular, but really he’s just a depressed little boy in need of a serious face kicking. And the fact that he keeps going on about his brother – ugh! Give it a rest already. You haven’t seen him in like 10 years, get over it. He doesn’t love you.”

Caleb attended Oasis Hill Academy from his first through fifth years, before abruptly leaving the island in the middle of his fifth year. Nobody knows why Caleb suddenly left, and the school was given no warning of Caleb’s departure.

Caleb has worked several dead end jobs while he’s been “hiding” from his family.
