My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 throat and neck cancer last year. After six weeks he finished his treatment and slipped into remission, until now. He now has sqemicell carcinoma in the same place as before. He is the first case who doesn't smoke and doesn't drink to have the cancer reoccur. I can't really promise anything right now. I'll try to slip Adrienne and Phoebe on as much as I can.

Much love,

Jessi

All our hearts go out to your family Jessi! Just so you know I am praying for you all. Don't ever give up!

We'll all still be here when you can get back, so don't worry about us and stay with your family, they're more important at the moment!

So my dad is going to be coming home from the hospital sometime next week. My time on line will rapidly decrease but I'll try my best to stop in once a day. However, when I'm on don't expect me to pay attention to the cbox cause I have three sites to check up on. I appreciate your patience and support during this time.

Much love,

Jessi

SO my dad is home and he’s doing well. Other than a little thing that happened the first night he was here because the nurse is stupid. Any way! He’s talking, way ahead of schedule and is actually urged to talk as much as he can. He sounds a bit like Donald duck but it’s cute. He’s now trying to master water, because he has to re-teach himself how to swallow. He gets up and walks around the block three times a day and is doing relatively well with the tube feedings. He isn’t really in a lot of pain and says it’s pretty much just a mild discomfort when it does come to visit him. He can’t really do a lot of things by himself cause he gets dizzy pretty easily and the anxiety keeps him pretty much stationary to the seat unless he walks or goes to the bathroom. Some days I won’t be on at all, cause I’ll be taking care of him but I’ll go on a tagging spree the day after. So in other words we aren’t out of the woods yet but we can see edge of the tree line.

Thanks for all you’re support during this time,

Jessi
